CALCINED ALUMINA

Calcined alumina is a commercial Alumina or alumina Oxide. It is white Crystalline Powder.

One of the outstanding Characteristics of Calcined alumina is its hardness which is 9 on Mohs scale.

Applications:

  • Ceramics
  • Refractories
  • Glass
  • Porcelain

Calcined alumina is Utilized in a Variety Industrial applications Including Structural Ceramics, Technical ceramics, polishing compounds for Plastic, Metal, and Glass. Its use as a constituent of special china dazes & it is use as a raw material for the manufactures of dental Porcelains. Also use for refractory application such as Electrical Insulators. It is use as an abrasive Resistant. Also used for glazing ceramics. Paint & Coatings and  thermal Spray Powders.
